Welcome to Fixation Station.

Fixation Station is a platform where people share items connected to hobbies, interests, and temporary passions ("fixations"), and optionally pass them on to others.

By using this platform, you agree to the following terms.

1. Platform Role

Fixation Station provides visibility and contact facilitation only.

Fixation Station:

  • does not own listed items,
  • does not inspect or verify items,
  • does not handle payments,
  • does not organize shipping,
  • is not a party to any agreement between users.

Any agreement regarding gifting, exchange, or sale is made solely between users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Fixation Station.

By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

  • accurate item descriptions,
  • lawful ownership of items,
  • ensuring items are safe and legal to transfer,
  • complying with applicable local laws.

4. Prohibited Items

The following may not be listed:

  • illegal goods,
  • weapons or weapon components,
  • hazardous materials,
  • recalled or unsafe products,
  • stolen goods,
  • counterfeit items,
  • regulated medical or pharmaceutical products.

Fixation Station reserves the right to remove listings at its discretion.

5. "Not Ready (Yet)" Items

Items marked as "Not ready to pass on (yet)" are shared for storytelling or announcement purposes only.

They do not constitute an offer or commitment to transfer the item.

6. Contact Between Users

Contact information provided via profiles enables users to communicate outside the platform.

Fixation Station is not responsible for communication, agreements, disputes, or outcomes resulting from such interactions.

Users are encouraged to exercise caution when sharing personal information or arranging meetings.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

Users must only upload content (including images and text) they have the right to use.

By uploading content, users grant Fixation Station a non-exclusive license to display this content within the platform.

8. Notice and Takedown

If you believe that content on Fixation Station violates your rights or applicable law, please contact us with sufficient details (including the URL of the content).

We will review the report and remove or disable the content without undue delay if necessary.

9. Moderation and Account Suspension

Fixation Station reserves the right to:

  • remove content,
  • disable listings,
  • suspend accounts

if users violate these Terms or applicable law.

10. Liability

Fixation Station is not liable for:

  • item condition,
  • delivery issues,
  • disputes between users,
  • damages resulting from item use.

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect platform development or legal requirements.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
